El Sham emerged from an ongoing dialogue between the artist Zvi Tolkovsky and me. The exhibition explores the notion of place, shaped by the political circumstances that influenced it. My work focuses on impermanence, using materials with a naturally short lifespan, such as the sand sculptures on view.
